D.W.O.G. 1st Annual Community Day

My name is Sonya L. Edwards and I am the founder of the Determined Women of God Community Group, a non-profit 501(C )(3) organization. We are located in the Olney-Logan area of Philadelphia. With the partnership of our friends; The IDAAY Foundation, it is with great joy to announce the 1st Annual Community Day on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at the Sturgis Playground and Recreation Center campus.
We recognized the increased need in our community to have good resources and hope. Through this event, we look to bring hope and much-needed help to low-income residents of our community.
We are asking for your support in this show of love and unity through a small contribution. Your minimum donation of $25 will provide the following support to over 1000 families on September 16, 2017.
* $3,000 will provide free bags of groceries for over a 120 families.
* $1,000 will provide food for the families attending the event, estimated at approximately 1000 people.
* $1,000 will provide free backpacks and schools supplies to over 200 school age children.
