Forks Area Trail System (FATS) needs your help. SORBAcsra, a 501(c)3 non-profit multi-use trail advocacy and mountain biking organization is asking for donations to help conduct a Reface FATS Project. FATS is located in the Sumter National Forest, SC.

This comprehensive mountain bike trail project will repair and improve problem areas, improve sustainability, and improve the fun factor of this great trail system.

Erosion of trail that required major work to repair

FATS is a major draw for mountain bikers, runners, and hikers in the southeast and is considered a have-to-ride destination trail.

SORBAcsra has worked with the US Forest Service (USFS) to develop a plan that meets USFS requirements while improving overall trail sustainability and rider fun.

SORBAcsra is contracting a local professional trail building company to do the work.
