High School Veterans Home

Supporting Helena, Montana veterans.

I am a Helena High school student in Helena, Montana who is involved in Carpentry II class that focuses on building homes. However, this years project home is very special, the home is wheel chair accessible and will be sold to a Helena, MT Disabled Veteran, my classmates and I are  INDIVIDUALLY raising money to off-set the total price of this home.  Building a home is expensive and even though the labor is student driven materials are expensive and the school, students, and  instructor can not afford to donate everything to the veteran.

With this Go Fund Me campaign we wish to raise funds off setting the overall home cost. Our goal is to raise $125,000 to aid a disabled veteran purchase a brand new community funded student built 2016 home. 

Any and all donations will be applied towards the materials and overall cost of the home.  No matter what happens we are benefiting a Helena veteran with a quality, locally built wheelchair accessible home that will improve the quality of life for a disabled veteran.

We have been in contact with the VA and the Montana Department of Commerce to find ways to keep the mortgage as low as possible. Your support is greatly appreciated. All donations will be used for the cost of materials and services rendered to build the home. While we cannot guarantee a veteran will own the home, we are making every effort to make it happen. Thank you for your support of this successful and innovative program.

This being said myself as well as my fellow students and two teachers Walt Jones and Randy Hussey are doing everything in our power to make this happen, this being said with my determination as well as involvment in the Montana Army National Guard FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION
