20,000 Meals for Providence Kids

Hunger among children in Rhode Island is reaching epidemic proportions. It’s greatest impacts affect the ability of school children to learn. And when these children are not in school, they don’t have access to meal programs and are denied proper nutrition at home. The Rotary Club of Metro Providence is raising $5,000 to deliver 20,000 easy to prepare meals for Providence area school children to bring home during the gaps in the school year where food is most scarce.
