Help Raise Funds For Surgery & Medical Expenses

This GoFundMe was set up by Nicolle Eden Mendoza-Churney in order to raise money to pay for a surgery and cover medical expenses of Dorian Eden Mendoza, her brother. Dorian left his home country of Honduras like so many others looking for a better future in the United States. By December 2019, he had already left Honduras and was passing through the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon. As many immigrants making the long trek to the northern border often do, Dorian made use of cargo trains to cross the long distances by jumping onto them and stowing away. Tragically, on December 31st, Dorian suffered an accident during one such attempt to make it onto one of these trains. The accident resulted in him losing his left leg up to his knee, just below the joint. His right foot and shin is badly mangled, but there is a possibility that he may be able to save it. However, he runs the risk of losing that leg as well up to his mid-calf if he does not receive the necessary attention. Any help you could provide in the form of donations will be greatly appreciated by Nicolle, Dorian and the rest of their family in Honduras. 100% of all the money raised in this GoFundMe will go to Dorian's medical bills as well as travel fare back to Honduras so that he can be with his mother.
