Kurt Schaefer CRUSHES Cancer

It is difficult to relay the devastating news we received in October. My brother, Kurt Schaefer was diagnosed with oral cancer. We quickly had him evaluated at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN on his 40th birthday and the surgery is tentatively scheduled in a few weeks to do a partial tongue and neck dissection. Kurt will have to travel back and forth from Chicago to Rochester for appointments, surgery, and testing. The reason why I am setting up a Go Fund Me is because Kurt is the only living brother I have left and he needs to go the hospital where they will give him the best care possible. Unfortunately, Kurt and I have lost two brothers, Mike at 34 years old and Pat a week before he would have turned 38. His biggest fear over the past few days was making it to his 40th birthday and he did. I told him that he has no other choice but to beat his cancer and with every once of my being I will accompany him during this long road. I will continue to provide updates on his treatment. My family and I are truly blessed and grateful for all the support we have been given these past few weeks.
