Tents & Sleeping Bags 4 DC Homeless

My name is Chris and I work in the nation's capitol. Just down the street from the Capitol Building are numerous homeless people that are struggling every day to survive. I want to raise money to provide them small tents and sleeping bags. As you can see from the cover photo, they have a single blanket provided to them by the city. This is D.C. and winters are blistering cold. They need more than a simple blanket.

Every penny donated will go directly toward buying a Coleman pop-up tent  and North Rim 0-degree Mummy bag (sleeping bag) . Each person that I speak with that would like assistance will get both items. 

I need the funds ASAP as winter is rapidly approaching. The temperature has already dropped quickly and will only get worse from here. Ideally, I'd like to hand out the items before Christmas.

This means a lot to me because I see these faces every day and they don't ask for much (if anything at all). They are kind, gentle, and above all very positive. It's inspiring and I want to hear their stories. 

I plan on taking photos of them and recording their stories to share with everyone. Anyone that donates will be able to put a face to these homeless people that they've so kindly donated to.

It will be a lot to me and especially to them. Thank you!
