Hello everyone!
I am a first year teacher, and I am trying to raise a small amount of funds for a project for the end of the year.
I live in Southern California, and I am eager about teaching my 4th grade students to be stewards and lovers of the environment. This is so important to instill in our future generations, and I believe the project I am proposing will help me do that.
I would like like to raise $150 to purchase tree growing kits and supplies so my students can learn about native California trees and their life cycle. The awesome part is that these kits will grow trees that can live thousands of years, and can be a testament to their learning and love of nature for their entire lives.
My students are enthusiastic and passionate about their home state, and for all that our beautiful state has to offer.
The kit is $80.00, and extra growing supplies, fertilizer and soil is approximately $40, and taxes and shipping charges will be approximately$30.
Please help me me raise this amount so I can share the gifts of nature with them. I would like to start this project in mid- to late April so that each specimen begins to grow before the end of the school year in the end of June. Thank you for your help, your donation will help a child learn the value and beauty of one of our most precious resources.
