Family of 5 Van Repair * 3 Babies Needs DR&School

Hello Everyone! We really need this story shared!! We still need this Emergency Car Repair fund. Our 3 babies have constant appointments, cardiologists and GIs.. We cannot make them and have our car getting worse.. We risk breaking down on I-40 in knoxville, 40 miles each way there and back.. We have to moved into a camper and tent now, with a one month old, 3 and 5 year old on our old property that burnt down, (which we have news coverage from different sources im our living room). It will be about 1000$ for repair of our family van, yet we only have a 300$ goal because we are trying to take care of it ourselves but to no avail... Our car has some sort of leak under and inside the engine. I have youtube video of it, and we want it repaired, not a new car entirely.. We would love to see some donations, even small ones. What your donation will go to is taking the sting off labor costs to repair it, because we have school starting this fall for 2 babies.. Our van has a coolant leak and we're needing assistance with labor costs for the leak and serpentine belt repairs! I cant start without at least 200+$, it will be 500 for just the leak.. Our 2 babies have their tongues tied and need a doctor, plus speech therapy visits and all so we for sure need this vehice!! Cant even afford the insurance right now due to all this. Since its tax time and we had a big tax surprise because we didnt change withholdings, but recieved less than last year, We're asking for a small donation to help with costs to get up and running again because we are fully exausted! Landlord recieved, we did not! We just cant lose our only vehicle. Im asking for specific emergency funds to help repair the family windstar coolant leak! We will post reciepts and paper quotes ASAP! I cannot risk taking into shop and not being able to pay. It is unable to make it ANYWHERE and we are paying what little extra we get for a friend to take us to doctor appointments.. Will be stranded and forced to ask neighbors to escort either one of us around or all six of us, so we need our 2000 model VAN FIXED! The van has a coolant leak and a permanent fix is looking like 500$ at least and we do not have all of the funds available to be able to get it to a shop and fixed with labor costs/parts well exceeding 500$.. I cant scrap it though because we need it and surely cannot pay 1500+ for a new 7 seat van.. Im not asking for a new car even though losing mine, an iPhone bill because i have none, not superbowl betting money because i don't watch football, and not rent payments because we are making it but ends are not being met in totality. im not asking for 1000$ to totally fix it and be greedy, im asking for 250$+ for easing the costs of labor.. I will try to get it fixed locally but if to no avail, i will need a new vehicle and have to scrap the van i have and it IS worth fixing. So heres our story on why we're behind alittle, so you feel comfortable in knowing where and to whom your donation will go... My name is Andrew Cogdill and i come from Pigeon Forge up in the mountains of Gburg and Cosby. My fiance Katie and i have came into heavy financial trouble with a baby on the way, our car has been disabled. Disabled with Schizophrenia and horrible Scoliosis, awaiting a judgement is promising.. but we are hopelessly falling behind with every dollar spent for about two whole months, but the car will be kaput and we need it repaired to hold our job when off of bed rest after labor. I will have to scrap the van because of mechanical failure. It is very scary and we are going without necessities to hopefully be able to make it.. We live on about 16,000 if that a year. Less this year which i can prove... What little we can make on the side mowing a yard here and there but it is out of season has been spent on baby supplies and god given, we have bare necessities except formula, and w.i.c. will be over if the shutdown starts (feb) and my wife cannot breastfeed. It is very hard to get away with two kids, 3 and 5 staring school in the fall. My fiance works at Panda Express but we have her on leave due to her medical complications. She is currently on no pay leave for at least a month as all new mothers and we will have a gap in funds too heavy to ignore.. The family Windstar we are driving has sprung a coolant leak and I'm using a chamois to absorb the pinhole spray coming from the engine, but it's just a matter of time before something breaks completely and we are stranded in the cold, without a place to go really for help, especially without a vehicle. The government shutdown will affect the time frame that we were relying on getting taxes back and rent assistance as well as wic for formula, so we are pretty much about to be put out like the other 800,000 people affected. There are causes that i believe are ridiculous compared to a family of 5 surviving.. butt tattoos on go fund me cannot be that important... Walls and ladders... The federal families and needy families should have that much support... "The cogdills" and this "cogdill boy" lost EVERYTHING in the gatlinburg fires. The family member that owned and help build the house had insurance, my grandparents, aunts, uncles, father, mom, sister and i had (O) insurance for personal losses and we lost all. It has spiraled downward from that day forward. Honestly it has been an absolute nightmare from the house burning down to getting our stuff stolen while running away to having our scrapped house ransacked over for scrap metal and torn apart for gun parts.. The YouTube video i have supplied shows the news reporter inside of our living room in front of our hearth where my papaw was kneeling every day for starting the fires that kept us warm during the winter and where i spent 12 years of my life, playing cars everyday when i was 4+ and getting Grandmas signature haircut. All of this is just getting to be so much, this is our last resort. I'm feeling ashamed asking for help but if I could do anything else besides ask for money I would, it's just coming down to the wire and any bit of support would keep our family from failing. Everything is culminating towards failure at this point because without l a reliable vehicle i cannot do as a father should. I am at gofundme mercy. I will invest every dollar into my families well being, it is an emergency fund 100% and every dollar will go straight to what is needed most. As assurance, I can always update. As I'm speaking, changing these words to text I have a lump in my heart and throat trying to gain enough courage to even post this but after I seen 20 million dollars for a wall that will not make any difference, and "ladders to climb the wall" .. It makes me sick to think what .01% of that money could do for us or anyone else.. So in conclusion I will do anything for my family and sharing this is my part in helping do what i am able to, to help. I'll pray that there will be a way monetarily or spiritually because God is walking with us and supporting in some way for us to make it this long.
