Amy Weaver was working Sunday night in Deep Ellum, delivering food for GrubHub, and was shot during an attempted robbery. The bullet fractured her femur and she has undergone surgery to repair it. She has no insurance and GrubHub was her only income. She needs financial help with the medical costs and months of required rehabilitation. Amy has given so much to the Dallas community through her poetry and volunteering. Let’s help her get back on her feet.
