Monarch Restoration Senior Project
Donation protected
My name is Theo Hall, and I am a senior at Open High School. My friend Marsden Olsen and I are doing our senior project together. For our project we are helping restore Monarch Butterfly habitats. The numbers of Monarch butterflies have decreased drastically in the past few years due to habitat loss and the use of pesticides. If this trend continues they will be extinct within the next 20 years. To help the Monarch population we will be planting half an acre of native Virginia wildflowers and Milkweed plants. By restoring some of their habitat we hope to help the Monarch’s chance of survival. Though we will need about $200 to pay for wildflower and milkweed seeds. We greatly appreciate any amount of money you are willing to donate!
