This is the story of my friend blue, she asked me to do this for her because gofundme is not supported in the area she lives in.
“2 years ago I was living in the UK, I was put in care because of my abusive father. However he managed to find a way to trick me into coming to my hometown for a “holiday” but as soon I arrived I had my passport taken away from me, been abused mentally and physically, imprisoned in this house and controlled in every way possible. However I finally have the chance to leave this toxic environment, go back to my real home and go to university. I have worked so hard to get accepted at this university and it payed off. However I cannot afford it, I tried getting a student loan or any sort of international student funding but there was nothing I’m eligible for. Please help me go to university, to find my way back to freedom and independence. I know it seems risky donating to someone you don’t even know the name of but I would like to keep that disclosed until I’m out of this country and safe in my real home. Thank you.”
