Threes Peaks Challenge

We have set up this fund raising page in memory of our Aunties Veronica Homewood and Bernadette Hayton, who have both recently passed away.
We are climbing the 3 peaks in 24 hours, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdonia.
We are starting the challenge on Saturday 24th August 2019 at 4pm and finishing it on Sunday 25th August 2019 at 4pm.
The charities we have chosen are Ovacome Charity for Veronica and Cancer Research charity for Bernadette.
Veronica passed away on the 14th May 2019, she was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in June 2014 at the age of 66 years. She had chemotherapy 3 times and the loss of her hair twice through the treatment but always stayed positive, in good spirits and determined to carry on her fight with Ovarian Cancer and enjoyed her life to the full. In December 2018 her scan results had shown the cancer had come back and after a short illness, Veronica sadly passed away on the 14th May 2019. Veronica was a lovely courageous and inspirational person to all who knew her, she will be sorely missed by all her family, partner Barry, friends and leaves a big hole in our hearts.
Bernadette passed away suddenly in her sleep on 24 July 2019, she was 64 years. It was a shock to all our family as Bernadette passed away only 10 weeks after Veronica. Bernadette and Veronica were very close sisters and enjoyed lots of special times together and many great holidays over the years. Cancer research has always been a charity close to Bernadette’s heart with Veronica being diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Bernadette was such a beautiful lady and a very caring person, she will be sorely missed by all her family, husband Peter, friends and has left us all broken hearted.
Please pledge a donation to this fund raising page. You can donate up till Friday 30th August 2019. All money donated must be paid by 6th September 2019. Both charities will receive 50% of all the money raised in memory of Veronica and Bernadette.
