Provide Tree With A New Wheelchair

Tree is one of our most dedicated, determined and continuously generous members of good kids mad city. Through his own first hand experience with gun violence, he turned that into motivation to help others who’ve also been through the same thing by having spaces for healing, giving back, and always encouraging others who are in his same position to turn that pain into the hopeful idea of change. We would love to give back to him, by raising funds in order to provide him with a new wheelchair, that will not only make things easier for him in terms of getting around, but also would help with lessening any uncomfortable situations that he deals with. He’s someone who always has an open heart, and gives back even in his lowest moments and we would love to do this for him. So please help as much as you all can, thank you. Background on good kids mad city for those who need the info - We’re a Chicago based organization that works to give back to black and brown youth affected by gun violence, and other forms of violence as well in many different forms, where it be providing spaces for healing, spaces to work on restorative justice training, spaces to provide them expression for art, etc. The person running this gofundme is one of the members of gkmc, Alycia. The funds raise will go towards buying Tree a new wheelchair. The funds taken out will be put into Alycia’s account, the member who ran the gofundme and then will be transferred to Tree through PayPal/bank transfer.
