Aid For San Gabriel Jalisco Mexico

Donation protected
On June 2, 2019 at 5pm in the afternoon the town of San Gabriel in Jalisco Mexico suffered the worst recorded natural disaster in their history. In May there was a massive forest fire in the mountains surrounding the town. Thousands of acres of harvest were lost due to these fires. On the morning of June 2 there was a storm up in the mountains. The town of San Gabriel never saw a drop of water fall that day. The storm that happened miles away up in the mountains picked up all the ash, burnt logs and loose soil left behind from the fires and came down full force and went straight for a small river/creek that ran down the center of town overflowing and taking anything in its path including vehicles and some homes as well. It is estimated that about 3000 people are directly affected by theThey are still not sure how many are missing and only a couple of deaths have been confirmed. Grandmother is amongst those missing. Her home was located right next to the river that overflowed and took part of her home and her as well along with it. A lot of families lost everything. This money is to help those families get started again and also to assist the relief of the town.
