A good example is the picture you see above, which shows a section of Gale Crater near the Curiosity Landing site, with the rover visible as a bright dot.
However, for Mars Photo Imaging to reach the next level of its ongoing project - using its Extreme Resolution Interplanetary Imaging process and take these NASA's HiRISE camera's satellite images to the next level and for everyone to see, funding is obviously required.
