A WARRIOR'S WAY

3 Years ago I met the love of my life. We met under the most odd circumstances but things couldn't have come together at a better time. As our relationship continues to develop and build a insurmountable level of love, trust, and loyalty, I noticed something about my queen that was keeping her down from time to time. Just looking from the outside you wouldn't be able to tell anything was wrong. My queen is fierce, cunningly intelligent, but cares for people with the grace of an angel. A unknown illness to many, but a painful, bone crushing Vice to many more. I've been told by people who suffer from this illness that it feels like a curse with no reverse spell or potion to undo its horror. This illness that im speaking of is Sickle Cell Anemia. A illness that has been among us for thousands of years. Once thought to be a solution for people in Africa, when there was a epidemic of malaria, this genetic disorder would keep you safe from the title wave of the virus. Today these Warriors, as I like to call them are suffering. Suffering to find care, suffering to find support mentally, physically, and spiritually, but most of all suffering from being judged wrongly from medical professionals. You never know how much you know until you find out how much you dont know. Myself, Brandon Harrell and my Queen, Cedricka Jackson are starting a Nonprofit organization. We want to help those Warriors who are suffering from this illness and help others be aware of this genetic disease. Help not only us but the Warriors Way organization achieve our goal to get these individuals the help they need. By doing this you will be one step closer to living a life of compassion, gratitude, and fruitfulness but most of all, living life A Warrior's Way.
