Be the Wind of The German Eagles at The Eurocup !

Hello We are the German Eagles! The German Women’s National Team representative for Australian Rules Football. A game we all love!
We competed for the first time as a National Squad, last year at the Eurocup in Cork, Ireland, finishing 5th of 9 Women’s Teams competing. This included the Winning Irish team, some of whom‘s players are competing in the AFLW. So this was an amazing result for our debut !
We have worked really hard, in both growing Australian Rules Football in Germany for women and improving our skills under the direction of our new Australian. very experienced coach. Our aim is for an even better result this year at The Eurocup and we would love your support in helping us to achieve our dreams !
We are competing in Stockholm, Sweden for the Eurocup in June, 2019 and also at the European Championships in London, England in October,2019 (an event that is only held every 3 years and runs for 5 days)
With our focus on these two major events, we are continuing to prepare for the challenge. However, with no financial support, this makes things very difficult and each player must pay the entire cost.
The costs for the two Tournament Fees, Flights to the tournament cities , Basic Backpacker Style Accomodation and Transfers to the games has been costed out as 23,000€
We plan on using contributions from our GoFundMe page to offset the cost that the players themselves need to outlay.
All finances will be managed by the National Team Co-ordinator, Maren Deden and withdrawals will be only made by Maren for this direct purpose.
We want to have the best preparation we can on the Lead up to these two tournaments, and your help would make a huge difference to our efforts as the Eagles girls live all over Germany. Training together comes at a high cost financially and also in scheduling time between all the players and coaching staff. We need your support !
We are so excited and can’t wait to represent our country in what we think is the greatest game on Earth.
