Help Chin-yer Fight Cancer

Greetings family, As some of you may have noticed, I have been mia lately. I have been quite introverted still trying to process the news of my diagnosis. In February of this year I learned that I have an aggressive invasive form of Cancer. I have had two major surgeries to remove the original cancer but the Cancer has since spread. I have been on unpaid work leave from teaching my students (who I soooooooo miss) for almost two months. I just started chemo this week. My energy is extremely low. I have spent the last couple days laying in bed all day because of the side effects of the chemo drugs. Within the last two years, I have lost both of my parents (and two uncles) to Cancer. I am just trying to stay as positive as possible under the circumstances. Trying to fight through this double grief has been difficult, to say the least. My friends and supporters urged me to do a go fund me to attempt to assist in the associated costs and loss of work during this treatment which will occur for some time. Everyone knows I am super proud but at this point I am just grateful that people want to assist. I promise to pay it forward with how I spend the rest of my days
