Help Bring Our Dad Home

The morning of April 16, 2019 we received the worst call of our lives. Our father, our mother’s husband, our HERO suddenly had passed away while away for work. He was a loving and gentle giant. A heart made of gold, and had the strength to pick the world up. He gave his blood, sweat and tears to provide for his wife and children. He was a loving man that took in 3 kids and raised them as his own, as well as having his own two bundles of joy, for twenty plus years.He was determined to live a long and loving life, he married his child hood sweetheart and built the foundation for his family to grow and live happily. Jose Rodriguez was determined and passionate about starting up his own trucking/moving company, something he dreamed about for years. For that reason he decided to fly out to Ohio for a moving company and in hopes to get his own truck ready for a business of his own. He was on the road away from his family for two weeks. On April 15th, I as his oldest daughter turned 24 years old and he called me to sing me happy birthday but little did I know that would be the last time I would ever hear his voice. The following morning, My mother received the call that he was found deceased in his hotel room in Ohio. That was the day that broke us. He passed alone and away from his family and that is our biggest heartache. We now must find the way to have his body transported back to Massachusetts from Ohio and give him the proper burial he deserves. We ask for help from our extended family, from our friends, from our communities and from the families all across. Any amount donated is deeply appreciated in this hard time.
