Help send a child to Camp Calvary Kids!
It is easy for each of us to be thankful for what we have. It is harder for us to look at people, especially children, who have less, who do less and who experience less. Here is an opportunity for you to donate to the children living in poor conditions in the capital city of Romania, Bucharest. We work with these children on a weekly basis and have gotten to know them well. These kids are funny, loving, and super fun despite coming from difficult family circumstances and tough conditions. We want to give them something they will never forget this summer; a week long camp in the countryside. The camp will include games, songs, Bible time, sports, art, a field trip, and even going out to dinner one night! With financial help from you, we can make this happen. The cost for each child to attend is $160 for the week. Our goal is bring 30 children, ages 9-12, to camp with us this July. Money donated will cover buying supplies for all activities, food for the week, train tickets to and from the camp, shampoo, soap, other general toiletries and overall expenses for room and board at the camp location. We are not looking for 20 people to be heroes and donate lots of money, we are asking for whatever you CAN donate, to make this an experience of a lifetime for these kids! Here are some ways you can help!
$160 will send a child to camp and cover all of their costs and needs
$100 will pay for the food for TWO children for the week of camp
$32 will pay for an entire day of camp for a one child
$10 will feed a child for a day in camp
