ACTIONS AGAINST BORDERS # 1 BREAKING POINT

My name is Marta Lodola, visual and performance artist. Since the beginning of 2017 I'm working on my ongoing project ACTIONS AGAINST BORDERS #1 BREAKING POINT.
The research is completely independent, no profit and its content are not intended to be marketable. The ultimate aim of the project is to actualize social and participatory dynamics of our community and raise awareness about the conditions connected to migration, discrimination, exclusion, violence and abuse. The purpose of the ongoing work is to bring to life a participatory society, able to recognize the true value of sharing and community as human beings.
I'm proud to announce that the next step of the project will take place from the 16th to the 30th of September 2019 in Barcelona (ES). Materic.org will host and curate the development of the site-specific research and the public presentation, STEP Beyond | European Cultural Fundation will support my travel.
At the same time, many production's funds are required to proceed on this journey, in order to buy/rent technological devices useful to the presentation of the expositive project and to be able to cover expenses related to material support (prints of the photographic documentation - written past interviews - translators).
My personal resources are not enough, and for this reason I prefer to ask people for voluntary support the next step of the project. The freedom of choice keeps the research running. The private and personal funds are a sign of great humanity for humanity, a gesture of an ongoing transformation.
Every contribution (even minimum) is extremely precious. The willpower of people is strongest than any other form of power, it is sign of a real union amongst human beings in order to change the humans condition.
