This is Jeremiah Gibbs. He is an exuberant, creative Six year old boy with T.A.R syndrome. He loves to eat popcorn and spend quality time with his grandparents, playing with friends and gaming! He needs occasional blood platelet transfusions, has no arms, multiple leg deformities and fused kidneys. For the most part he has found his own innovative solutions to the simple daily tasks such as eating, brushing teeth, getting around the house and interacting with friends at pre-school. But being outside and keeping up is difficult as he cannot walk. We were recently told by Shriners Orthopedic surgeons that there is little they can do for him in the way of surgery. Because of this we're eager to outfit our home special for his independence! Jeremiah drives a K4-50 Permobile power chair. This helps give him more independence on the playground and in the community. Jeremiah's disability has not defined him thus far.... what it has defined is the immeasurable amounts of loving support and generosity our community is capable of. We need your help raising funds to provide and empower Jeremiah in the world, making the simple things that we take for granted more accessible for him. Jeremiah is so grateful for all the friends we meet and who help out along the way. He gives back with his courageous spirit, inspiring smile and indomitable will. All donations are directly deposited into Jeremiah's special needs trust where they are safe and spent on his various needs according to irrevocable trust regulations. Thank you all kindly!
