Natalie's Rhythmic Gymnastic's fund

Fifteen year old Natalie McGiffert of Topanga, CA., has recently been asked by USA Gymnastics - the American arm of the Federation of International Gymnastics - to join six other girls as a member of the U.S.National Rhythmic Gymnastics Group Team as they begin to train in Northbrook, Ill. for the 2013 World Cup Championships and ultimately for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Natalie and her father recently moved from Topanga, CA., to the area 26 miles NW of Chicago where Natalie has established residency, entered Glenbrook North High School as a sophmore and begun training with the National Team.
Natalie has been the Western Regional Champion and Athlete of the Year for five of the last six years. She has won numerous competitions across the country as an individual performer and is currently ranked in the top ten in the country. Everything Natalie has attained has come from her own commitment and dedication and courage. Her successes are entirely her own. The invitation to join the U. S. National Team is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ascend to the World Championship level of International Competition.
There is no financial help available from USAG or from any other outside sources to cover the expenses of training six days a week, 52 weeks a year and traveling to competitions in Europe and all across the U.S. This fund will be used solely for direct expenses having to do with Natalie's training, the meet entry fees, coaching fees and her travel to competitions.
It will allow a talented and committed girl to continue to strive for excellence in this hugely demanding and exquisitely beautiful sport.
