$1000bagel for my BD & Food charity

$1000 Bagel?!?!?!? New York, the city of the bagel? Who's gonna buy it? Me? No way! I am not in a position where I can afford a $1000 dollar bagel, or one where I would spend that much on a bagel, but am indeed fascinated by the concept, especially due to the fact that all proceeds will go to The Holy Apostle Soup Kitchen which is the city's largest emergency food program (http://holyapostlessoupkitchen.org/)
This is a really great idea!!!
I am really interested in having the special bagel, so as to make the donation for charity, but being that I am not on the level of someone who can afford a $1000 dollar bagel, it’s not very practical to spend this much on food.
The $1,000 bagel is offered from Nov. 1st through Dec. 15th at The Westin New York hotel at Times square. Hey! My birthday is coming up on December 11th. This year marks my 15th anniversary of living in NYC, so I really wanted to do something special to commemorate this occasion. NYC + Bagel + lavish lifestyle + Party + Charity. That's New York! 1K Bagel birthday and Charity would be a nice way to celebrate my birthday with you on my 15th year anniversary in the city!!!
Here is the deal,
This is my first attempt to do fundraising, as well as attempting to have something as lavish as a $1000 bagel.
If I fail the fundraising, and can't reach $1000, I will just give all donation from this fundraiser to the city food program, and unfortunately no birthday party, and no bagel.
If it's a success, I'll have the $1000 Bagel on my birthday Dec 11th, Monday at the hotel's Foundry Bar during breakfast hours. You can join my 1K bagel birthday breakfast bash, and I will even cut you off a bite of it! If you can't join my birthday, don't worry, as I will post updates on the experience, flavor, and crispness of the crunchy charity bagel.
Oh, It's already November! I only have one more month left for my fundraising! I will close my campaign on Dec 9th, which is 2 days before my birthday. This is due to the bagel needing to be ordered 24 hours in advance. Thank you so much for any interest, and support in my birthday charity project!

このたび、タイムズスクエアにある、ウエスティンホテルが、1000ドルのベーグルを発売しまして、話題を呼んでおります。そんなベーグル、どんな金持ちで変わり者が買うのかと、一般市民は興味本位でしたが、なんと、このベーグルの100％の利益は、全て、NYCの食糧基金 (The Holy Apostle Soup Kitchen)に寄付されるんだそうです。それは、素晴らしいアイデアだ！
このベーグルは、11月1日から12月15日までの限定販売でございますが、あっ、ワタクシ、12月11日が誕生日でございます！ しかも、今年は、NY在住15周年！ こんなおめでたい年を、1000ドルのベーグルでお祝い出来たら、なんてステキ！
誕生日と15周年を祝いながら、募金にも協力できるのよ！ でも、1000ドルって、なかなか一般人ではポンっと払える額でもなくて・・・。
そこでですね、皆様のお力を借りて、資金調達が出来ないだろうかと思い立ちました！
皆様と誕生日を祝って、皆様と食糧基金に募金活動に参加する。 このベーグルプロジェクトは、どんな様子か、いったい1000ドルのベーグルとはどんなものなのかも、逐一、報告させていただきます。
万が一、誕生日ベーグル募金が1000ドルに達しなかった場合は、集まった金額を、そのまま、NYCの食糧基金に募金させていただきます。ですが、残念ながら、私の誕生日祝いと、1000ドルベーグルはなしになります。（涙）
もし、1000ドル、達成いたしましたら、12月11日の朝食時間に、ウエスティンホテルで、1000ドルベーグルと共にお祝いです！ その時間帯にウエスティンホテルにお越しになれる人は、ぜひ、一口、1000ドルベーグルを食べに来て下さい。 来れない人も、ホテルの許可を下りたら、1000ドルベーグルの報告は、ビデオ、ブログで致します。
この募金活動は、あと一ヶ月しかありません！
ベーグルの注文が、24時間前までなので、誕生日の2日前の12月9日には、募金活動を終了しなくてはなりません。
みなさま、ぜひ、1000ドルベーグルを誕生日に食べさせてやって下さい！
その利益は、全て、NYC食糧基金に送られます！
