The 1000 Cancer Stories Book
In the summer of 2017, the 1000 Cancer Stories campaign was born. The intent of collecting 1,000 cancer stories & sharing them was clear- to create a support system for those going through similar experiences.
The campaign quickly became an important part of the discussion of cancer in our local community & it's time to continue to branch out. We're doing this by publishing a book sharing 100 unique stories & pictures of those effected by cancer.
Just picture it- an entire book filled with stories of the people we love the most in life. These stories will show the strength in fighting cancer, they will show how difficult it is when we lose somebody to cancer & the stories will prove that together- we're better than cancer.
When the book is published- we plan to sell copies where all the funds will be then donated to the American Cancer Society to help further support those battling & their families.
We are raising money to help with the costs of publishing this book in the fall of 2018. We aim to create & produce a quality book that will last a lifetime telling the stories that so many of us can relate to.
Being able to publish this book would truly be breathtaking & would help us accomplish a big dream that we have our hearts set on. The book would help us continue to build a community, share experiences & helpthose who are going through what many of us have.
