Please save Nabella's life

I seek financial support for my 14 years old sister, Nabella Umutoni. She has been experiencing severe pain since 2017, and the local doctors could not figure out her diseases. She has been taking pain relief medicines. However, her condition soon regressed, and she was diagnosed with a solid mass stretching from the 6th to the 10th rib, that pushes her lungs and makes breathing impossible. On March 20th, 2019, Nabella heard those heart-stopping words” I am sorry, but you have cancer” followed shortly by “you need emergency surgery to remove the tumor blocking your lungs or you will die”. All she could think of was will I see my mother and siblings again? Will I go to school again? To say the least, it has been a whirlwind of emotions-denial, anger and sadness, and an unimaginable amount of grief.

The only option available is to take her to India for the surgery. She must fly from Rwanda in Africa to India. The hardest part has been trying to accept the fact that my family’s financial ability may worsen the situation. It is almost impossible to afford airfare to India and surgery cost. Upcoming expenses will include air ambulance, cancer surgery, medical bills which include but not limited to use of medical equipment, medications and doctor expenses, and ongoing nursing care. At least half of the funds are needed as soon as possible so that we may begin her emergency surgery process. Your generosity to Nabella will certainly ease family's burden throughout this process.
