Cans For Canines

Hello my name is Emmanuel Jenkins. I was born with a disability called cerebral palsy, and I have been in a wheelchair all of my life. Even though I am in a wheelchair, I do not let it stop me from doing anything. One of my biggest goals in life is to become more independent Even though I have a very helpful wife and a son to help me with things I do not like to rely on them solely. I love being able to do things on my own such as going to the grocery store, to the bank or just being home alone.These are just some of the things that i like to do on my own . To become even more independent I have begun the process to recieve a Service Dog, and I have been excepted. Currently I am on the waiting list to attend a two week training course. Upon completing the training course I will receive a service dog who will be able to open and close doors, pick up items that I drop, carry my personal belongings, grab items out of the refrigerator and so much more. The organization that i am receiving the dog from does not charge me for the dog, but i have to be able to attend a two-week training course in New York. Also, after i received the dog i have to be able to buy a dog kennel, dog food, vet bills Etc. Your donations big or small will help my trip to New York for me to attend the two-week course and also services and supplies for my service dog.
