Help Gold Star Widow and Children Get Fresh Start

Donation protected

Please help my daughter and her family - Stephanie lost her loving husband, Jason, ten years ago when he died serving this country as a National Guardsman in Afghanistan. He not only left behind his young wife, but also my three beautiful grandchildren. Since that horrific day, Stephanie has been fighting to keep her children going. It has been a difficulty journey to say the least.
Her middle son, Joseph, has been diagnosed with PTSD, suffering severely from the loss of his father. This has left him unable to attend school or leave the home due to crippling anxiety and depression.
Also, her youngest, Noah, was diagnosed with a rare neurological autoimmune condition called Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome three years ago which robbed him of himself, his ability to function at school, socially with friends, and everything that makes childhood special. He had been housebound since getting sick, receiving homeschooling from his mom. After paying out of pocket for a few of the very expensive but necessary treatments, their insurance finally kicked in and Noah was able to get the regular medical attention he needed. Today, we are starting to see signs of the old Noah coming back to us, and we have hope again for his future.
To make matters worse, the family's dog Sam, who they rescued a year after losing Jason in hopes of helping with their loss, developed cancer this year and has undergone several lifesaving surgeries. While her prognosis is good and the doctors are happy with her progress so far, her recovery will be slow.
All this time, Stephanie was struggling with her own health issues that impacted her life greatly to the point where she had to give up finishing her college degree.
Today , however, there is a real reason for hope. Stephanie was blessed with finding love again nearly a decade after Jason's death. Though she was not looking for it at the time, fate intervened, and she met a man who would help heal her broken heart. Ian has been a godsend to Stephanie and the kids these past two years. He is loving and kind, with a generous heart and soul that has embraced my daughter and her children. He is a small business owner in Scotland, and I know, together they could build a stable foundation and loving home for everyone.
I'm setting up this account today to give my daughter and her family this chance at happiness. If you could find it within your hearts to help Stephanie move her children and pets to Scotland, you would be helping this family, who has endured such pain and heartbreak, finally find the peace they deserve.
