My name is Tanishia Goudy and I am a praying single Mother. My children and myself were recently forced out of our section 8 Home due to mold taking over the house I now have to start over from the bottom again . We were recently in cots shelter before we moved into this house for 10 months We moved into this house on December 30th 2017 with the section 8 voucher program and someone broke into our house before Christmas of 2017 and stole every thing out of our house (except) the refrigerator . I just replaced everything with the help of the some family members and now it has all been taken away from us due to the mold . I have to start all over again. I thought I would be able to salvage some thing’s but it doesn’t look like I can. I thought of ways that It would work and those ways are not working. That was washing the clothes but once I was them where can I put them I have no money for a storage , I have no where to put the clothes once I was them. Because the mold is on the floor which means if I wash all the clothes I have no safe place to put them because if I put the bag on the floor it’s still being affected by the mold . So I’m setting up this GoFundMe me account so that I can replace everything that my children and I lost or at least try to replace some things. My children’s health was at risk and still maybe at risk due to us being in that house for 9 months we all have a nebulizer machine each for our asthma my children also have 2 inhalers each that they use daily as for my health I’m in the same situation as my children. I would like to thank anyone from the bottom of our hearts who is willing to assist my children and myself with us reaching a goal to replace all of our things or at least try to. We are grateful and blessed that fox 2 came out and helped us when no one else would help us they put us into a shelter the same day and we are currently looking for a safe house to move into now that is free from everything that can harm us. Fox2 was my last resort I didn’t want to call but At that current time I had no choice I had to think of my children lives and safety first .
