Elnora & Gilbert Recovery Fund

My name is Deb Orth and I am a REALTOR with Coach House Realty in Richmond, VA.  I created this campaign  to help an elderly couple whose situation was brought to my attention by my friend and former client, Nona Mason.

Elnora and Gilbert of  Charles City County are in desperate need of a new home because the mobile home they were  living in burned down January 24th.  The Red Cross put them up in a motel for 2 nights. They were living in deplorable conditions before the fire.  Elnora has rheumatoid arthritis, schizophrenia, and hypertension. Neither one of them gets around well.

Our real estate community is trying to raise enough money to buy them another mobile home that can be placed on their 1 acre property and to provide them with clothing and furnishings.  Once we receive enough funds to meet this need we will use them on behalf of the couple to buy the mobile home, arrange for the old one to be hauuled away, and to prepare the lot and utilities to be connected to the new mobile home.
