Helping Tom’s Family

Donation protected
Uncle Tom Brooks, an Uncle, Great Uncle & Great Great Uncle to over 60 kids (young & grown) , a brother to 5, a father of 2, a Grandfather to 3 and the lifelong love of Aunt Joyce died suddenly yesterday at only 65 yrs old. Tom was one of the hardest working men I know and would do anything to put food on his family’s table, make someone laugh, and be there for ya when you needed to cry. Passionate about his entire family, his work at Brooks Auction House, Harley-Davidson’s, and his precious wife, who he adored since they were teenagers. Uncle Tom stayed busy at his Auction House for long hours-and even with incredibly painful back problems. He managed to make a go of it for a gazillion years- through ups and downs in the economy. If his back was hurting, or he had financial troubles, it didn’t matter- he would shrug it off, be stoic and proud and just say- “well, what are ya gonna do” and go back to work or change the subject. I loved my Uncle Tom’s character! His work ethic! His family conviction and loyalty! I’m gonna miss him....

Now, his wife is faced with the bills of the family. With the Auction House he ran closing and things not being the best of late years, I’m asking for financial & spiritual support for this sweet, hard working American family. With funeral expenses, past medical bills, and daily life for Aunt Joyce until she is able to function and plan her future, I am asking everyone to please reach in their pockets and assist in any way you can. Our family is large and Uncle Tom touched many of us in his warm way. We can all reach out to our friends and share this urgent need. Tom’s dry comical reach went far beyond family too, as his own Auctioneering made thousands of customers laugh over the years, and many become friends. Uncle Tom, may you Rest In Peace and know you were always loved and respected and we will all pull together and take care of Aunt Joyce.
Thank you for praying for Tom’s family to have strength through this very difficult time and donating whatever you are able- from $10,$100, or $1000- help me take the fear of the unknown away from Aunt Joyce and allow her a bit of time to discover her new reality of life without her soulmate. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
