Vegan needs Video Camera & Computer

Hey, friends!
As many of you know, I film a lot of my Vegan activism and then create motivating videos for my growing Facebook page and YouTube channel. My last video went Viral with over 3,000 Shares and 115,000 Views and tons of people commented that they're never eating animals again!
I've been studying filmmaking for over 10 years, so with the right equipment I can create cinematic videos and short films that will reach a larger audience and connect with people even more deeply!
To film my Vegan activism (which includes educational outreach, vigils, protests, and trainings), I've just been using my phone, so the video quality is very poor. Upgrading to the Canon SL2 video camera will enable me to capture high-quality images that will add a layer of professionalism to my activism. This investment also includes an excellent microphone so I can record better audio.
To create the final video, I edit the footage together and add in some emotional music, visual effects, and images of animals. I'm currently doing all that on a computer that's from 2008, so as you can imagine it's painfully slow. I'll be editing 5x faster once I upgrade to the MacBook Pro which is the perfect computer for filmmakers to edit movies!
I spend most of my time as a volunteer animal rights activist, so I only work at part-time at a restaurant which means I'm not really The Money Guy. So, anything y'all can contribute is super helpful! I have a ton of exciting projects lined up!
