Keep the wagon rolling
Donation protected
Last year I donated food services to a shoreline school softball team and raised over $2,500.00 for the team. Which helped them to pay for their trip to the finals in Disney. I managed this using a grill, a coffe pot and soda. With only with my personal pickup truck. After the season I was looking on cragislist and came across a older truck that was fully equipped. Figuring with a little TLC I could at least manage to continue helping the team. So I used all the money I had to get everything rolling. When I got the truck home I noticed a smell. After some investigiating we pulled up a floor tile and the flooring was saturated and rotting there was evidence of mice. Now I am looking at gutting the truck to ensure I can maintain the level of cleanliness to meet health and safety codes. I took a chance to help but it turned into a nightmare. Now I am stuck with a truck that needs to be gutted and rebuilt. Softball season is coming up in August and I would love to use the truck. I went as far as paying all the state and local fees, consulting a lawyer and registering a name "The Patty Wagon And More LLC". I was full steam ahead and now I am stuck. Hoping to raise funding so I can continue to help the team.
I'm praying for decent people to donate. All donations will go into getting the truck ready to serve (Walls, floors, cabinets, and anything else to make it safe). I've never been one to ask for help. I took a chance and trusted someone who advertised a road ready truck and got burned. I have been tirelessly working . Nickle and diming everyting. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.
