For Our Warrior Mom, Anastasia

Our mother Anastasia, who is 46 now, has been living with stage 4 cancer for 6 years.
Despite many tests , they were unable to tell what her primary is, so they are treating her as GI cancer. She has been through surgery after surgery, chemotherapy treatment after chemotherapy treatment. She faces day to day debilitating symptoms, which make her unable to do day to day tasks as she would before. She suffers from vicious vomiting (everyday ) which is caused by a tumour blocking the passage from stomach to bowel. This pretty much makes her home bound, something that if you know my mom, know she is not happy about. This has been life altering in so many ways to her. She has been unable to work ever since she got diagnosed and the financial burden of medical costs is something unexplainable.
Our mom is a single mom. Raised myself and twin sisters alone, with out any financial assistance from anyone. She is the strongest person I know and I'm not just saying that cause she is my mom. It's cause I have never witnessed someone who has been given this horrible news to be so positive and keep going. Her fight for life is so real and something to be inspired by truly. This relapse has really impacted our family, the emotional and mental stress is weighing on all of us now. Her cancer went away, and we thought for two years that maybe just maybe she fought off the last cancer cell, but to our surprise, it has resurfaced. We are not sure what will happen but we are keeping our thoughts positive, praying everyday and hoping that this time we get it all.
We ultimately want our mother to be part of the group that defeats cancer, so that she too can say "I KICKED CANCER IN THE BUTT".
The financial burden that my mom and our family face is very real and adds so much stress to everyday life.
Medical costs ( for treatments not offered in the hospital which are not covered by OHIP in Ontario, on top of the chemotherapy she is receiving from the hospital, prescriptions etc.), and living costs.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated by our family and most especially by our mom, who doesn't know I made this account.
