We are desperate for answers...please help...
Here is our story....
Zaden McKnight went missing with his mother in late March of 2014 in Dayton, OH. His mother, Nichelle, a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserves 445th Airlift Wing, was tragically found deceased and was the victim of a homicide. Zaden has yet to be found and is still listed as "missing."
We started as a group of volunteers that rallied around his heartbroken family. And over the last 6 months...we have become a family. A family that is dedicated to making sure that Zaden is brought home...
In April 2014, we began volunteer civilian foot searches and put the word out to the local media and as many agencies as we could to spread awareness about Zaden missing. We conducted foot searches for over 3 months and were joined by several professional teams such as Texas Equusearch- Ohio chapter and a local K-9 team. Sadly, Zaden was never found.
Over the past several months, the amount of support, kind words and encouragement we have seen from this commnunity has been absolutley remarkable. We are so, so thankful and very blessed. We want to say a huge thank you to all of the agencies, businesses and volunteers who have assisted us.
We have now moved into the Fall and as time passes, we are becoming more and more desperate. At a recent #TeamZaden meeting, we decided to set up a reward for information leading to the location and/or recovery of Zaden.
We will be holding a fundraiser at Orange Leaf on October 18, 2014 to help establish this reward fund. If you are unable to make it to the fundraiser, you can still make a difference by donating right here on our GoFundMe page.
No matter the circumstances, Zaden must be brought home. We must continue to the voice of his beloved mother, Nichelle. We must stay strong.
To our team, awareness is key, and we will continue spreading the word no matter how long it takes
Any donation, no matter how big or small can help us make a difference. We need your help to bring Zaden home. Your donation can help us in many ways. Here are just a few examples:
-To help boost our Zaden McKnight reward fund
-To help spread awareness about Zaden- this includes fundraisers, flyers, and missing person advertisements to spread the word
We want to thank all of our past, present and future donors. You guys keep us going and encourage us to never give up. We are so greatful- Thank you!
