Our #TeamZaden Back To School Drive is in full swing! We are collecting donated school supplies and are purchasing book bags to help support the children in need at Edison Elementary (Zaden's school).
We want to show these children the meaning of support and the meaning of teamwork. When we work as a team, we can do anything!
We have a few other pictures to share too-
Zaden's mother, Nichelle, is a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserves. Her fellow service members recently honored us at the Commader's Call meeting at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for our efforts to bring Zaden home.
We want to thank Jack Brankamp and the VFW in Huber Heights for being great supporters of #TeamZaden. They have always been by our side.
We have many plans for the future. We want to serve this community for years to come. Dayton, Ohio is a great city, and #TeamZaden is just one small example of why.
We want to thank each and every person who has supported us, near and far. Stay tuned for more updates and pictures. :)

Where it all began...
Award from WPAFB 445th Airlift Wing
Zaden McKnight went missing with his mother in late March of 2014 in Dayton, OH. His mother, Nichelle, a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserves 445th Airlift Wing, was tragically found deceased and was the victim of a homicide. Zaden has yet to be found.
We started as a group of volunteers that rallied around this heartbroken family. We began volunteer civilian foot searches and put the word out to the local media and as many agencies as we could. Many things have happened since then....
#TeamZaden recieved an award from the United States Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in June 2014 for our hard work to try and bring Zaden home.
In July 2014 our search team was honored to accept an invitation to join Texas EquuSearch Mounted Search & Recovery-Ohio Chapter (TES). If any future searches are conducted, they will be under the direction of TES.
*Please note, this donation account is not for TES. This account will be used for #Teamzaden fundraisers only.
#TeamZaden will continue to serve our community in honor of Zaden & Nichelle. We are committed to continuing to spread the word about Zaden missing. No matter the circumstance, Zaden must be brought home!
We recently began our very first #TeamZaden Back To School Drive. We are collecting donated school supplies to help children in need at Zaden's school. We want to show these children the meaning of support and teamwork. We hope to expand to many other schools in the future. Dont want to run to the store? You can donate right here!
Donations made to this account will be used towards supporting our community and making a difference in honor of Nichelle & Zaden. (See List Below) Once our #TeamZaden Back To School Drive is complete for the year, we will continue to keep our focus on serving others in need.
Some examples of ideas our teams are working on include...
-Expanding fundraisers to support our local schools
-Holding events to feed the homeless & show them support
-Volunteering our time to help families/businesses in need in our community (yard work, property cleanup, clothing donations, charity donations)
We will do whatever it takes to REACH OUT & UNITE this great city- Dayton, Ohio- We are calling on you. Please, help us support those in need. Show us your power and determination.
When we hold volunteer events, we always want to make sure we take great care of the kind folks who have donated their time. This includes feeding them, keeping them hydrated and making sure they have the supplies they may need.
By donating to our #TeamZaden GoFundMe account, you can help make a difference with us! When we work as a TEAM we can do ANYTHING!!
