Hey All..
It has been 7 years since the devastating earthquake in Haiti and The Clowns for Haiti have been as embroiled, as ever,in helping to resource schools and put smiles on Haitian children's faces. Through fundraising as well as the performing arts at events in Haiti we have reached a prominent point in our mission. 2015's project was The Clowns For Haiti pencil case appeal, where school children from all over Ireland filled our Clown pencil cases with rubbers, pencils, rulers, pens and small letters. We collected over 2,460 pencil cases from 13 schools nationwide and brought them to Haiti.
All funds collected went towards resourcing school equipment for schools in Haiti and performing educational shows there. When we return to Ireland the mission continues as our clowns will visit the schools that supported us again with wall boards signed by children and teachers in Haiti.
A remarkable bond will be created between Ireland and Haitian children on a scale we never thought possible!
