Support for Marck's funural trip

Never before have I thought I would have to start an online fundraiser but here we are! On July, 9th 2015 my dear friend Marck-Antoine Simoneau died unexpectedly at work, just days after making the 11 hour voyage from Quebec, Canada to spend the week with my family and I.

I met Marck online 10 years ago through a shared interest in the game "Elasto Mania" Our friendship became much greater then the game. I helped him learn English, taught him about our culture and whenever either of us needed to talk we were there for eachother.

Now comes the challenge. Personally I am not able to leave the country. My girlfriend is planning the trip July 16th to the 19th to attend his funeral. She will be representing myself and our close community of friends throughout the world from the online game that brought us together. It was devastating to the whole community that something like this could happen to such a friendly and likeable guy. She will be sharing words from his fellow friends as well has delivering flowers and condolences to the family in their hard time.

Our financial situation is very tight at the moment as I have legal obligations to pay as well as having 2 children one being only 2 months old. I am creating this account in attempts to raise enough money to safetly get her to the funeral. The money raised will be used for Travel expenses as well as flowers for the funeral. Any small help will be greatly appreciated as myself will have to make sacrifices to make this possible.

I know Marck would have done the same for me and made the trip happen if it was me in this situation. Its the least we can do to help pay respects from the many friends he actually had. I was thankful to have had spent that amazing last week with him but no amount of time would have prepared me to say goodbye one last time. Thank you,
