When you have all the resources you need to do your job or complete a task, don’t you feel focused and energized? We want to give youth that same opportunity by sending them into a new school year equipped with the essential supplies they need to have a successful school experience.
On Saturday, July 25, 2015, we will distribute essential school supplies to 50 children living in Kuhio Park Terrace. We need your support to make this happen. Please consider a donation of funds, school supplies, or time. For as little as $20, one child can get the some of the basic school supplies he/she needs to start off the school year.
Families living at Kuhio Park Terrace constantly struggle with meeting daily expenses, so providing anything beyond those basic needs, such as buying school supplies, can be a challenge. As a result, children do not have the tools they need to thrive in school. These well-deserving children consistently attend our weekly youth service and small group where they demonstrate commitment to developing their leadership skills, helping their peers, and improving their neighborhood. Because of their hard work and dedication, we are thrilled to assist them with this important need.
For more than 10 years, Innovative Concepts has brought hope to the community through outreach, small groups, and weekly church services. Strengthening our community is a foundational value in which we are strongly rooted. We hope that you will join us by making a gift to the school supply drive.
