Black Elk Peak Presentation

Donation protected

Greetings,
Today, our peaceful campaign to change Harney Peak to Black Peak has made it to United States Board on Geographic Names (USBGN) for a vote to accept the new sacred name of a mountain to be called "Black Elk Peak" This historical vote will take place on September 10, 2015 in Washington, DC at 9:30am (est). The address is located below:

Department of Interior
(Kiowa Room)
1849 C  St. NW
Washington, DC. 20240

On August 13, 2015, I will provide a presentation to the USBGN on the importance of the significance of the Black Hills of South Dakota to the Native American and the importance of changing the name of Harney Peak to Black Elk Peak through cultural diversity and unity with an emphasis of "Mending our Sacred Hoop One Generation at Time, through Cultural Diversity" with all walks of life.

With the many atrocities of today that occur everyday in our media with events such as the most recent tragedy of the church shootings in South Carolina in relationship to the "Confederate Flag" it is time for America to come to a neutral perspective and remove all negative names and items from the public view and renew a selfpride and understanding through Cultural Diversity among all walks of life. Just as the confederate flag is offensive in the South , so is the name of General William Harney is in South Dakota to the Native American Communities, therefore I humbly ask for 2 simple request and they are:

1. Please donate to my "Operation Mountain Name Change" campaign to help educate the powers that be on the Harney Peak to Black Elk Peak name change  and on the importance of Cultural Diversity throughout America and the World. I will be traveling to both meetings and your generousity is greatly appreciated.
2. Please email Louis Yost, Executive Secretary for the U.S. Board on Geographic Namae : [email redacted]  and encourage the him and the USBGN to keep the new name of "BLACK ELK PEAK".

Please show your support and help us get to this very important meeting and donate any amount you can. if you wish you can send your donations through Paypal by my email: [email redacted]

if you have any questions please contact me directly at [phone redacted].
