Your Next Miss NAACP

Greetings! I am Charisma Eve Lowe. A sophomore, majoring in Fashion Merchandising, at the ILLUSTRIOUS Clark Atlanta University. Coming to you from the city that never sleeps, Brooklyn, NY by way of New Castle, DE. I am at the beginning of my journey on becoming your NEXT Miss. NAACP 2015-2016. At a mere 5'2, I stand tall on my platform H.E.R.O: Helping Expose Rightful Opportunities for career and academic development to minority students. Through my platform, I will raise awareness for and help minorities in available opportunities that they may not have been aware of otherwise. I believe that in order for us to keep advancing as colored people, we have to be aware of and utilize every opportunity available to us. If I am ever so fortunate to be your next Miss.NAACP, this will give me a bigger platform to instill great change and inspire others. My mission is to make a difference in the lives of masses. Being able to enact great social change is a big part of how I measure my success in life as a women and a human being. In order to make this happen, I have been asked to raise $850.
