School Supply and School Uniforms

The Nehemiah Project is a community and social organization that was formed to address the community and family issues that the residents of Coahoma County face. This drive is setup to help less fortunate children of families in Clarksdale, MS and other surronding towns in Coahoma County obtain school uniforms and school supplies for the upcoming school year. In the previous year with the help of people, social organizations, and businesses from the community we were able to help 284 families and 564 children.  This was a huge and significant occurance for a city located in the Mississippi Delta.  Our goal is to raise $10,000 this year, in order to help more families and children. We are asking donors to contribute toward to this goal, so that we can purchase uniforms and/or school supplies for children in grades k-12.  The deadline for all donations is August 3, 2017.
