When I Learned I Was having a lil girl I was so excited to be able to teach her about the world... But our sweet lil girl was born with a rare nuerological disorder called rett syndrome. So instead of teaching her about the world I spend most days teaching the world about her. You see Sophia has no voice, no use of her hands, can only walk with assistance, has breathing abnormalities, parkinson-like shakes, and alot of seizures!!! Till now we have been able to transport Sophia in our mini van and Ipick her up and put her in her car seat and buckle her in and we go... As of late i would say the last 6 to 9 months Sophia has grown so much that I Cant really lift her anymore and everytime I put her in we hit her head on the inside roof of the car ... Thers no way of avoiding this. So one day i was skimming through facebook and noticed a fundraiser for another little girl who has rett syndrome and it was for a toyota mobility vehicle ... I thought wow this is EXACTLY what Sophia needs but we could NEVER afford this ! And some friends had mentioned gofund me ... So here we are and this is our story. If you choose to donate to our Sophia, and to help make her daily life a little easier for all of us .... GOD BLESS YOU!! We are truly greatful... Words will never be able to express how appreciative we are of such an amazing gift to our daughter( other than the gift of healing her retts syndrome)
