This is a post by my sister earlier, makes me sick. Please consider donating to their baby, Colton. He is a fighter. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
Im really missing my Colty this week. As my husband and i pick out what our little girl is going to wear for her halloween costume, my sister is trying to get 2nd and 3rd opinions about her baby. Sometimes I forget for a moment whats going on in their lives because i am removed from it and live in a different state, but then it all comes back to me in a second and i get so sad. my sister has always been the strongest person I've known and now its really shinning, but i now have to say i think colton may be the strongest person. For him to keep fighting everyday with a smile on his face(most of the time) definitely makes him a strong little bugger! i think everyday that there is no way that i could deal with what she and nick have to go thru. i cry everyday pleading with god to please cure our baby colton. This will definitely be the worst year of their lives, but i am confident that colton will get cured from this horrible cancer. He is such a sweet sweet boy. No child should ever have to endure this and neither should their parents. Please keep him and his family in your prayers and help him fight cancer! We are all rooting for you Colton! Ill see you in a few weeks!
I've had a few generous people as me how to donate! Go to this website and it only take a few seconds!
I got to spend the weekend with Colton and he's soooo sweet! We played a lot and I'm exhausted! He has his 5th round of chemo on Monday.
I got to take my sister out for her first pedi since may and her first dinner out since he was diagnosed in July. We had a great time:) can't wait to so thAt more often after he's all cured!
Can't wait to see Colton in a few days! If his levels are high enough we can take him to the pumpkin farm! Stay strong little bugger! You're doing a great job! Wov you, wov auntie, uncle, baby m, bendix and cubbie
Keep fighting colty schmolty! We love you! You're such a strong bugger! See you in a couple weeks!
I was informed today by a friend, that they read somewhere that the out of pocket cost for a child who has cancer is about $40,000. I knew it was a lot but after speaking to my sister on several occasions about bills that they have all ready received and bills that will be coming with other treatments, I know that they will definitely reach that. So, I want to thank you all so much for donating. It means so much to them. I know they have received a lot from the "Colton" bracelets as well, and soon, my sister in law and boyfriend will be selling t-shirts. I have gotten a ton of requests all ready for sizes, and as soon as I have more information, I will relay it to you. Please forward Colton's fund to anyone you may think would like to donate. Kelly and Nick need all the help they can get. I love you Colty and stay strong bugger!
Thank you so much! We love you Colton!!
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR DONATING!! WE ARE HALF WAY THERE! I cannot believe ALL the generous donations from everyone. I know Kelly and Nick have never even met some of you and I havent even spoken to some of you for years and you still generously donated. I'm sure their bills will pile up a lot larger than this goal I'm trying to reach for them, but with all your donations, they will be able to pay a few of them. Please send this website along to anyone you think would like to help them out:) I know they appreciate it so much.
Update on Colton: He starts his 3rd round of Chemo this week. I cannot believe its his 3rd round all ready. It was a little over a month ago he was diagnosed:( they really are on top of things so that makes me feel good. Please keep Colton in your thoughts and prayers as he starts his 3rd round, we hope he doesnt get really sick or weak. He's done so well with the frist 2 rounds, besides the fevers and loss of appetite, but this round is different from the first 2. I miss him so much and wish i could just move back to wi to help out my sister and nick and just snuggle with colton til this disease all out of him.
Kelly and Nick are still not at a place to discuss this with anyone, as it's still hard to swallow and they are just trying to take care of their baby. I have gotten numerous emails asking me details of his disease, and i apologize if i have not answered you back, but out of respect for kelly and nick, i will not answer them til they are comfortable with sharing the details. They are doing all the can to help him get better and trying to keep their life as "normal" as possible:) Thank you so much for caring and please please keep him and his family in your prayers:)
Keri(Coltons Auntie, Kellys sister)

We're half way to our goal!! Please forward to anyone and everyone to help us reach it! We love you Colton! See u soon buddy!
Thank you ALL for your generous donations! Update on Colton, he's in the hospital this week for his second round of chemo, Kelly said he's napping now and was playing with all his toys earlier. We love you Colty! Baby M, auntie and uncle are going to visit him this weekend, we are so excited and I know colty is excited to see baby m! We have to be extra careful during this time as he can get sick very easily, so we will make sure we aren't sick and we take every precaution to sanitize before we walk into their house. Keep fighting Colton! You are such a strong bugger!
You guys are all sooooo amazing! I cannot believe the outpour of love for Colton! People that have never even met him or my sister and her husband. It brings tears to my eyes, I know it does the same for Kelly and Nick. God bless all of you! I love you Colton! We're all gonna help you through this!
I know Kelly has gotten a few emails meant for me so here is my email, email@example.com.
My sister posted this on her Facebook page...
As you now may know, our life has completely changed. I didn't want the information on fb, but I also didn't want all of you who have generously donated to the fund my sister set up for my son, to go unnoticed and without thanks. We are truly blessed to have all of you on our side. Some of you who have donated are family members, close friends, friends of friends, childhood friends, and some are people we don't even know; but we do know all of your names and wish we could thank you personally. So from the 3 of us, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts and please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
