Hello friends, family, maybe even strangers.
There are a few things about me that you may or may not know. First and foremost I have two chronic illnesses. I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis in 1997 and I was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2006 right after I had a left total hip replacement. (The tattoo in the photo is over the scar.) This isn't to garner sympathy but to let you know what's currently happening with me.
Secondly you may or may not know that I'm really bad at asking for help. I'm sure some of it comes from being raised in Oklahoma with a do it yourself attitude and some of it is probably from living with two diseases most of my life that don't give me much time to wait for help from others.
That brings me to the go fund me portion of this message. On June 24th 2015 I'm going in to have another total hip replacement. This time on the right side. (I will eventually get another tattoo to match.) Unfortunately this means I will be out of commission for some time. I'm told I won't be able to drive for the next month. I am completely freelance when it comes to work which means without the ability to drive I will be hard pressed to make money over the next month. I'm more than happy to do work for you or yours from my apartment and I'm also offering a pay what you can deal on photos if you come to me. I'm even down to offer services to be rendered at a later date if that works for you. It's been a rough year for me and I've been living pretty much month to month which means a month out of work is going to hit me for sure. I really don't like asking for help but I also know a lot of my friends and family keep asking what they can do. If you can't donate I totally understand. For those of you in Los Angeles I'm sure a visit or a ride will come in handy. And for those of you that are farther away a phone call or email works as well. I feel really awkward even asking for help like this. I know times have been tough for plenty of people I know. If you can share this with others that would be a help as well.
I'm not sure what my medical bills are going to come out to so I'm just kind of spit balling on the figure here. I really appreciate anything you can throw my way. Seriously $2.00 from everyone I know on social media would make this goal.
