Graces trip to Cincinnati

I am starting a gofundme account to try and raise funds for lodging and transportation for an upcoming appointment for my daughter. Grace was born with Achondroplasia. She is a little person. Upon review of her latest MRI the doctors show concern toward the size of her brain. They said there is a lot of fluid surrounding a very physically small brain. Her neurologist has set up an appointment for July 16th in Cincinnati with a genetic specialist. From the time she was in utero i was told she would be mentally challenged. It broke my heart thinking i would not be able to communicate with my daughter like i wanted to. I prayed endlessly. Grace was born and has thrived for over four years. She is brilliant, funny, and beautiful. She is just now realizing she is different than other little girls her age. She has faced many challenges and overcame all of them. What they said she couldnt do... She has done. She had little to no muscle tone as a baby, and they said she wouldnt walk until the age of three. As a team ( me, my momma,her siblings,and her daycare providers) pushed her, worked with her, and never treated her any different than anyone else. She started walking on Christmas day... Three months before her second birthday. I am so proud of her. For this trip I will need to miss work, transport and lodge myself and the rest of my children for three to four days at a minimum. I do not qualify for any assistance, and am making it but not thriving. With such short notice .... I am not anticipating meeting my goal, but it is definitely worth the effort. I have few social media friends... So please share my story in hopes of getting my little girl the attention she needs. Thanks for taking the time to read my story.
