Brian Smith's Road To Renewal

The Arizona branch of Belcan, called Belcan TechServices specializes in recruiting individuals for technical and engineering positions across the country. In 2010, we had the pleasure of placing our friend Brian Smith with one of our clients. In 2012, the assignment was complete and we assisted him in obtaining further employment. Unfortunately, that assignment ended as well. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to secure another position for him, going so far as to search for positions outside of our network of clients, and purchasing a bike for him to get to potential interviews and jobs. Then we were unable to reach him.
It was with great regret that we discovered, Brian had not been able to secure employment since 2012 and has lost his small but comfortable apartment after 15 years. His bike is gone and his few possessions are in a modest storage unit, which he is struggling to pay for.
Approximately 6 months ago, he was in a severe car accident. He lost several of his front teeth and can no longer smile for fear of how people will react to his appearance. Back surgery also ensued and he can no longer lift anything heavier than 10 lbs. However, Brian has the skills to fulfill many types of roles and eagerly awaits a new position where he can prove his worth once again.
Each day for Brian is a day of survival. Where will his next meal come from? How does he pay for his storage unit, so he can hold on to those last few things he cherished so much? How long can he stand in 117 degree weather asking for a hand-up?
As a testament to Brian's strong character, he has put on a brave face in light of his circumstances. Always the one to help others, when he's been the one truly in need. His dedication and loyalty is apparent in his work and personal life. If there's anyone deserving a second chance, it's Brian.
It will take some work to get Brian back on his feet. He'll need a place he can call home, steady employment, transportation and healthcare. To help him on this road to renewal, we ask that you find it in your heart to support him with any monetary donation you can afford. Our inital goal is to raise $5,000, but by no means should we stop there.
