As most of you already know, a truly great man, John Stofesky died on Tuesday 06/16/2015 from a sudden stroke. John was a 26 year veteran of the Pittsburgh Police Bureau. John served the City with honor, courage, and kindness.
Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing John left that encounter as a better person. For those of us that had the pleasure to call John a friend. We were truly blessed. John could make you laugh within moments of being in his presence. He was full of life, and seemed to thrive in knowing you were enjoying his company. We are all in shock, and disbelief that such a good man could be taken from our lives so soon.
John leaves behind two sons, Johnny Jr fifteen years old, and Ryan twelve years old. John was a loving father, and his two sons meant everything to him. If John wasn’t working he was with his boys.
This GoFundMe account is being setup in an attempt to raise money for his two boy’s college educations. Please help us support those who meant the most to the man we loved.
All funds raised will go into a trust fund for his boys.
