Been busy writing and editing material for the new website however need to pause to thank fellow Unitarian Universalists JoAnn, Fred, Peggy & John, Donna plus local supporters Matthew, Lizette and Nell. I am exciting at what FIGAH will be able to achieve with your donations.

The new website design will be done next week and site ready to launch the first week of September. Meanwhile we have established relationships with a few select distributors to enable you to purchase books, DVDs, African market baskets through our site.

Thanks to Eileen, Ellen and Jeanne we were able to speak to the web designer about the format and navigation for the new site and are editing pages to submit for the initial posts.

Web designer Jan has been contacted to begin the process of creating a new website. Jean, Alethia, David & Martha, Danielle, Gail, Eshu, Kathy and Kathy got us to and across the half way mark.

FIGAH was introduced to more people at the African American Family Day in Albany who are eager to see the new website.
Edie, JoAn, Dan & Lynne, Chrys, TJ and Venessa brought us just about to the quarter mark. Grateful for friends from afar and a few miles away.
FIGAH will be participating in the Hudson Black Arts & Cultural Festival on Saturday, August 11. Aiming to have Rights and Wrongs of Voting booklet done by then to add to the mix.

Worked on update to booklet Medal of Honor Recipients of African descent from the Civil to Vietnam Wars. Look for it at the African American Family Day event August 4th. Your contribution will help cover printing costs.
