During our partnership with Fraternities 4 Family we raised awareness with the "One Man Can Make A Difference" Campaign.  This campaign culminated at our Annual Golf Classic where over 9 fraternities stood up to stop violence.  The partnership was featured on over 150 news outlets across the country.  We are making a difference....together.  

Now we are asking for your help to extend the good work. Durham Crisis Response Center is Durham's primary resource dedicated to providing support and services to those who are victims of domestic or sexual violence.    Each year we provide ongoing support, counseling, shelter, 24-hour crisis lines (English & Spanish) and more.  Our mission is to be a resource for persons in need of help; therefore, fundraising is an important.  We need of funds to cover daily expenses at our shelter, as well as make plans for our dream of building a larger shelter with onsite support and direct care staff.

Last year, we unfortunately had to turn away 135 women who sought safety from violence because we did not have capacity. This number does not include the children that would have come with their moms.   

Any amount you give can help us reach our goal of not only providing crisis intervention, emergency shelter, legal advocacy and numerous other services, but also creating awareness about intimate personal violence through community partnerships such as our link with Fraternities 4 Family.
